Re: Ocho Cinco In B&G
He is a cancer.Go after Roy Williams,or D.J. Hackett,or select through the draft.Wide reciever is not a priority.Moss and Randle El wil explode in the WCO.Kick returners have all the elusiveness when they get the ball in space.I would be concerned about our age at the line of scrimmage on both sides.

If we are determined to acquire a #1 WR via trade, I'd much rather see us pursue Roy Williams. I'd be fine with trading our 1st for him. |

Feb 10 Tom Kowalski, of MLive.com, reports the Detroit Lions will likely not trade WR Roy Williams unless they are overwhelmed by an offer, according to a source. There's your answer to that. And Who the hell knows DJ Hackett?.................... Exactly. Nobody. Except people in Seattle. The guy only played 6 games this season and his past 2 seasons stats are pretty damn disappointing. Yeah that's exactly what we need. Another lackluster WR. I thought we had already have enough of that in Lloyd?

Re: Ocho Cinco In B&G
here we go again. we dont need to trade for CJ and give up our high round draft picks. this has been our problem in the past. and on top of that he is going to want a big new contract. lets build this team through the draft. sign a lesser named FA big target WR. we need a young DE's OL's. i would care if we spent on 2nd round pick drafting a WR. but please dont make the tradeand give up all our draft picks

Also a lot of you are fogetting that the best DE's and OL are found either at the top of the first round or in the second and third round. Guys like Strahan, Elvis, Jared Allen, Osi, Aaron Kampman, Jason Taylor, Justin Tuck,Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila, Adewale Ogunleye, Derrick Burgess were all picked after the first round. With the OL the general feeling is get an elite LT at the top of the first round and the rest of the OL in the second, third and fourth rounds. Thats why guys who might be one of the top 10 players in the draft like Ryan Kalil end up in the bottom of the second round. The question here is do we get away giving up just a first round pick or a first and third? However CJ will be a Redskin, at this point its only a matter of time.

Re: Ocho Cinco In B&G
Yeah, how stupid. Cooley doesn't make it rain, he makes it friggin' hail! Plus, we need two Cooley caliber tight ends to run the WCO effectively. No way in hell Cooley EVER leaves Washington. Mark my words. Now... since that is out of the way... I changed my mind. Trade Moss and the third round pick for CJ. Draft a DE in the first, and go after something else in the second. Boom... elite reciver for a gimpy punt returner, and a third rounder that we wont need as much. Hopefully Carlos will come back, and learn how to cover, it's sad cause he's so athletic... but I'd say Jansen and Samuels are aging... depth for them would be nice. I don't ever wanna see Pucillo line up again. We need OL, and a good DE. Thats all I think. Maybe even a stud LB... cause we wont be seeing Rocky this year and Marcus isn't producing like he should.

Re: Ocho Cinco In B&G
I'd love to have CJ, I just don't like what we'd have to give up to get him. Without a doubt he would enhance our offense, but those DP's are gold and I don't like the idea of giving them up when we have more pressing needs in other areas.
CJ has a rather strange character make-up but I'd take him if he came at a resonable price.........I just love having those DP's |

Maybe we can trade Six Flags for CJ?

I have an answer to CJ's question. "How do you stop 85?" Answer: You send him to Washington. DAMN!

Re: Ocho Cinco In B&G
I would not mind seeing CJ here but it not worth a first round pick IMHO. It is time we use the draft to build our club through the draft and not players like CJ who want to come to Washington for the money.
