For a 3rd round pick!
He is coming off of a knee injury, that scares me a little bit.

did you miss the response to this in the other thread? Where would we use him? Fletcher is better, and we have already spent money on him. we do not need a MLB especially an injury prone one. our needs are elsewhere.

you are !!!!!

a) Expensive, b) oft-injured, c) We have a good prospect in Blades. The point of free agency is going after what you don't yet have, not what you have.

The Jets are shopping him. He hasn't fit into their 3-4 system.

Stop shouting lol. And even though I think he could be a great player in a 4-3, we don't have a need for him right now so that's a no.

Re: HOW ABOUT JONATHAN VILMA?

linebackers are not our concern, maybe try someone in a late round but thats it..We need a DE,CB,OG,DT,OT,last pick up in the ,air whomever sparks the eyes.WR will be addressed in free agency,(although i think we r fine at that pos).Moss as 2 slot,RandleEl at 3 slot. The no.1 slot will be D.J.Hackett..

Re: HOW ABOUT JONATHAN VILMA?

1. Vilama was baller.
2 He has been injured the past few years.
3. He plays MLB.

Given all of this information how does he fit in with the Redskins?

Re: HOW ABOUT JONATHAN VILMA?

I agree with everyone else, we do not need him, besides that I have really high hopes in H.B Blades, I think that he will be a great MLB for us when Fletcher goes down...

Given all the information, why do you guys keep saying 'hes been injured the past few years'?

Hes only been in the league for four, last year he tore his knee, which was the only injury hes had in college or the NFL.

I would love for us to get Vilma, the guy is a beast. However we dont need him, we have fletcher, who has atleast a couple years left in him, so its just not the right time.

The jets watn to get rid of him because he istn suited for 3/4, but it a great 4/3 linebacker. Which just isnt a need for us right now...

Yeah I don't get where all the injury prone business came from either, he's only had like 1 injury from what I've heard.

As for Blades I really hope he can take over when Fletcher leaves, but we'll just have to wait and see.
