Just physically - Andre Carter. I sawe a clip of him lifting and it was insane what he's capable of.

If talking about football gifts and skill - between Portis and Landry for me.

I think Randy Thomas is probably our most physically gifted player. He's strong as a bull and pretty damn quick for an O-lineman. Landry is a close second.

Hands down its Clinton Portis. He's the best blocking running back. He catches out of the backfield like the best of them and he's a beast through the tackles.

I dont mind the unnessary roughness calls so much as long as he gets a good hit on them.

Are you talking about LL if so I hope your kidding? If so that is a big negative in his young career a costly penalty at a crucial time in the game, sure everyone loves the big hit at the right time or anytime for that matter as long as its clean and not costing us yards.

You can not get 15 yards tacked on to the end of a play for unnecessary roughness, those are game changers plain and simple! He will hopefully mature and grow out of the dumb mistakes.

Back to thread: Andre Carter is still the most physically gifted player on the current team, without a doubt.

Yeah LL needs to chill with the dumb penalties but at the same time that kinda comes with the territory when you have a young aggressive safety back there. A part of me likes that sort of intimidation factor.

A part of me doesn't want to talk about this, just for the simple fact that Sean Taylor was probably the most physically gifted player I've ever seen play the game. How many players could you say had the speed of a cornerback, the prototype build of a safety, and could hit like a linebacker? When I think about it, I feel like nobody came close to being as physically gifted as him.

If I had to answer the question though, I guess I'd say Portis. Just because of the all around ability that he has. I don't get why so many people think he isn't a good pass catcher though. He caught almost 50 balls last season.

Laron Landry ran a 4.39 at the combine. I loved Sean, but I think that Landry could be even better.

LL, Portis, ARE, all good choices. I'm going to go with H.B. Blades. Small, compact, packs a wallop. Just watch the transition from Fletcher to Blades over the coming years, it will be seamless.

I'll go for Clinton Portis. He's fast, he can catch and he can block! Our most complete player! And well, have you seen the neck he has for a guy of this size ? He looks like a bull! Impressive!
