Personally I don't think its realistic to expect a 15 year old to not screw this up royally. That's what being 15 is about, you screw these things up so by the time you get to college you kind of know what you are doing.

This is the winning post right here. If he has confidence it doesn't matter when he calls, because the attitude he will convey is that of self-assurance. Waiting a few days to call is a way of making it look like you are busier than you really are, more popular than you really are, which may work for a short time but eventually will be exposed as faking the funk.

There is no magic formula. I think it's typically best to wait a few days, but because you really have stuff going on and it really does take you that long to call, not because you are strategizing your every maneuver.

Anyway, what I would tell homeboy is this: you are young, you have your life ahead of you, you are probably good looking because your mom is always talking about how hot she is. Live your life with complete belief in yourself and your future, and a cool girl won't be able to help being drawn to that.

The fact that he's asking his mom for advice means he's dead in the water. He's overthinking. I know it sounds stupid, but being yourself is much more interesting than trying to conform to rules and social regulations. F it, if he feels like having a couple of shots and calling in the middle of the night while he's pleasuring himself, by all means have him do so. At least it will be memorable, and at 15 that's all you can really hope for.

Thats probaboly true as well. Not so much the part with asking his mom for any advice, absolutley nothing wrong with that....but that probaboly means he is overthinking, which is never good. I'm pretty much a shining example of overthinking everything, and ussually that is what ends up biting me in the ass in the end...but like someone else said, at least he's learning this all at 15, I didnt really pick up on it until well into college.

Great point. At 15 years old I couldn't have imagined asking my Mom for advice on dating.
