Re: Week 4 Gameball

I gotta go with the defense, stopping a high powered offense like the Cowpokes, and keeping their running game to 44 yds. And doing this with a banged up secondary and no Jason Taylor.

I went with Portis. His running was so key. He ran a lot more fluidly today than he normally does.

Re: Week 4 Gameball

There are at least a half dozen, in this HUGE VICTORY:

1.) JC (The next step has clearly been taken!)
2.) Moss
3.) CP
4.) Game plan/coaching staff
5.) O-Line
6.) Defense

Hell I guess I could just say the whole darn organization in no special order. HOW BOUT THEM REDSKINS!

I think it's pretty amazing how well we're covering people when our pass rush isn't exactly top notch. That really says a lot about our secondary.

Still, the team harrassed Romo enough and without JT.

I disagree. We almost got to Romo a lot. But I don't think we had single sack the whole game and only one or two knockdowns.

Re: Week 4 Gameball

zorn is killing it, and jason is leading the way... or do i have that backwards

everyone's doing there part. i still think we should take el off punts and start horton from here on out, but another great game, and brooks looked much better.

Re: Week 4 Gameball

I voted for Jc but I would have voted for the off line if it was on the list,Except for the 2 early sacks they played very well, opening holes for Portis and Jc was under some pressure, but it was manageable pressure

Couldn't agree more. The O Line was stellar. It all starts in the trenches and JC and Portis both commented on the line's play. Rabach had a couple of penalties, one of which was bogus but beyond that, they were studs.

Re: Week 4 Gameball

I give it to JC. He was simply outstanding today. To me it looks like he's starting to feel the rush coming. He's getting some pocket presence that Brady has. Stepping up to avoid the rush and making accurate throws when he's off balance. He's starting to look like a top NFL QB.

I gave it to Horton. The guy just makes plays when we need them most. We needed that pick to set up that field goal. He should be the fulltime starter.
