Re: Week 4 Gameball
Like I said before, Horton was the steal of the draft. This guy is the second coming of ST, he's proving it every week. I know those are big words to say but he's making it happen.

Re: Week 4 Gameball
I voted Jason last week so I'll go Moss for the effort and making Terrance Newman look bad.

Re: Week 4 Gameball
I dont know if a game ball can be given to the entire team but that's who I think deserves it. This was a total team domination of the Cowboys.

I think the easier question is who not to give it to

Re: Week 4 Gameball
I voted for Campbell, but as far as unsung heroes of the game, I'm going with Brooks and Jansen.
Brooks comes in and is getting more consistent each week. He only had three yards less per punt than did "perennial Pro Bowler" McBriar...

Re: Week 4 Gameball
Got to give it to Campbell. He has matured a lot in last few weeks. Great job of managing the game. Seems like things are clicking and the game is slowing down
for him. Major props to Zorn and his crazy drills. They seem to really be working for Campbell. |

Re: Week 4 Gameball
I say every plaer gets a game ball this week as it was just a great group effort.

Re: Week 4 Gameball
It has to be Campbell.
I'd probably give honorable mention to Carlos Rogers/Greg Blache. When Springs left, and Rogers had to cover TO, I seriously thought we wouldn't be able to stop him.

Re: Week 4 Gameball
I went with Other, and will give the game ball to the entire D, with emphasis on Shawn Springs. 2 weeks in a row he was able to effectively shut down an opponent's star WR with his coverage skills. The run defense was clutch, holding Barber to 3.3 yards/carry (was averaging 4.6) and zero TDs. Dallas abandoned the run game so early that Felix Jones wasn't even a factor.
All in all, it was a complete team effort. I was hoping for 2-3 coming out of the 1st 5 games, but the Skins could quite possibly be 4-1 and well on their way into a 2nd half that isn't quite has deceiving as the 1st half.

Re: Week 4 Gameball
Campbell. He broke countless tackles to deliver passes instead of being sacked. He spread the ball around (no TDs for Moss or Portis) and ran when needed.
He played very smart football and kept the ball out of Dallas' hands.

Re: Week 4 Gameball
It was a total team effort but I've got to say Shawn Springs -- knowing how T.O. single-handedly beat the Redskins last year at Texas Stadium with 4 touchdowns, you'd have to say that whoever is able to stop him, hence, stops the Cowboys.
