Nah... FRPLG's harmless.

I'm not sure you really want to know why I don't post very often anymore. It's irrelevant anyway. This thread is about EQ's lovelife and what's up with his moody girlfriend.

Here is what you do:

Send her flowers at work. Women love flowers at work, It's proof to her coworkers that there is a person on earth that can stand her.

Go shopping for the items needed for the following advice.

Make her dinner with a quality bottle of wine.

Ask her about her day and mention that you think you would like her parents to move in with your guys when you guys start having kids.

Watch a nice romantic movie and kiss her lightly whenever they kiss in the movie.
Don't start fooling around! Tease her a little.

Walk her into the bedroom and tell her you want her to wear This and make passionate love to you.

If she refuses and runs for her life, You had a good woman and the problem is you.

If she nails you, You should kick her out and have her brother move in.

She didn't ask him to do any of that

If you can't even ask her how she's doing, she needs to find her place in the relationship.. and I don't mean as a lesser, I mean as a respectful equal

Apparently a few months ago she felt a bump on her chest and didnt want to tell me, then she got real sick for a while last month so she went to the doctor like 2 weeks ago and had some tests done on it and hasnt heard back yet. She said she has been scared and didnt want to tell me so she has been acting short with me so I wont worry.

Wow. Well, hopefully everything is ok. I can totally understand her fear...but at the same time, she has to be able to tell you about these types of things. That's not something you hide.

Wow. Well, I'd say that's more than a legit excuse for her short temper of late. Sheesh. I can't offer any advice other than don't worry until there is something to worry about. I wish her the best of luck. The good news is, god forbid it's the dreaded "c" word, SHANDS hospital in Gainesvillle is one of the best in the country. I'm sure she'll be fine. It doesn't sound like you have a hard time being kind and supportive, so just keep it up.

Keep us posted. In the meantime I'll keep you both in my prayers.

Damn, who would have thought the Schneed would exhibit the best understanding of the female gender up in here? Not Schneed, I'll tell you that!

Sorry to hear that, man. The tendency to bottle stuff up isn't necessarily a male or female thing, either. It's just a personality thing, some people just tend to internalize this stuff. My wife does the same thing (maybe that's why my radar went up that something might be wrong). I have to coax her to talk. At first she's resistant, but I'm persistent without being pushy, and when she does eventually reluctantly talk it out she always feels better afterward.

Keep interested, read her moods, and ask her to talk about it when appropriate. It shows you care, and that's the best thing for her right now.

I am glad for you that there is no one else...I am very concerned about her situation and I wish you and her the best. I know there is very little that can upset a woman more than the possibility of breast cancer. It's certainly understandable she was short.
I'm glad you opened her up and got her to communicate with you. I said it in back to back posts on this thread...communication is always the key. If she comminucated with you about this months ago, then you would have understood and not had to write this thread. Hopefully this happening will help both of you learn to communicate better. Sometimes even in the worst of situations, there is a bright spot.
Good luck Quake...we will be praying for you. You can e-mail me to talk if you wish.
