I like the pick. I didn't think he'd fall out of the top 5 let alone the top 10.

YES! My dream draft pick came thru. He's telling PrimeTime that was the team he wanted to come to..

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

I feel bad for Oher. I hoped he would go sooner (to us particularly)

If they wanted Mack, I'm surprised they didn't trade back again!

Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion

I don't know what it would cost to trade up, and I know we have nothing this year to really trade.... but I wouldn't mind trying to see what it would take to trade up and get Oher....

That could be a heck of a combo with AP.

Cerrato, if he can be believed, said they called every team ahead us to get orakpo.

I hope he stays healthy and Blache finds a way to fit him into our system well. It's unclear to me where they will put him. Long term i think Orakpo's best chance of making an impact is RDE...but I highly doubt we sit Carter immediately. I can't see the guy playing OLB in our system unless we're going to teach him to cover and make plays in space. And finally i don't see him as a a run-blocking monster at LDE...so again not sure where Orakpo fits but i guess we can say the Skins took the BPA at 13...that's nice.
