It will probably come out that we tried very hard to get Sanchez, but the Jets offer was too much to overcome. After we couldn't have Sanchez, they focused on the task at hand, and that was Orakpo.
Thank you Jets for taking the decision out of our FO hands!

I just woke up. WTF!?!?! why did we let the jets take Sanchez. Dont get me wrong i really like Orakpo, but i LOVED Sanchez. Our front office has absolutely no clue how to run a franchise. Had a chance to get get a franchise QB for the next 15 years and you let someone get him. On top of that they have completely alienated Jason Campbell over the last month or two. Ill tell you what this is gong to lead to at year end, especiallyif Campbell lights it up this year. He's either gonna tell them to: a. kiss his ass and leave or, b. hold them hostage when it comes time to renegotitate. And people wonder why the skins have only made the playoffs 3 times since 1992. Thanks alot Snyder and Cerrato or shoud I say Dumb and Dumber.

I like Sanchez, but I'm glad we didn't mortgage the future, and some of our up and coming players to get him, We did the right thing, let's build through the draft.

Now what if the FO basically had Orakpo targeted the entire time and wanted to ensure somebody traded up for Sanchez (knowing Seattle wasn't taking him)? What if they told Jason Campbell to play along to the media? What if... nah, I'll just be grateful the chips fell where they did...

I am quite sure that that is what happened. Did you see how fast we got the Orakpo card in? We obviously were smitten with HIM. We would not have been willing to sell the farm for Sanchez if we were so happy with the idea of getting Orakpo.

If that's the case, then they may have pulled off the biggest hoodwink to a fanbase in years... they used their free-wheeling/spending reputation they've built and pulled a 180! Talk about playing with the media... still not sure I believe this, but if I were the FO- this is what I'd say to us.
