Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion
If Campbell struggles again this year, what do we do? DO you prefer McCoy, Bradford, or Tebow? If Campbell struggles again , we should be in pretty good position to get one of those guys.

Bradford 1, McCoy 2, Tebow we don't need, we already have two stud tight ends...

Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion
Oh and the Giants just took Clint Sintim... sorry to bum out everyone who was hoping he'd somehow fall to us. The Giants are actually having themselves a decent draft so far... I guess we'll just hope another one of their stars has some horrible random breakdown.

Yup. Garrard looked a lot better in 2007 when their line was actually blocking. Smart too, because I think Britton will definitely be better as a RT. Good for them. Jones-Drew is loving this.

Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion
Help me out here with the Browns trade -- as I understand it, they trade out of the #5 spot for the Jets #17, in return they get the Jets' 2nd round pick and some players. Then, they trade two spots down with the Bucs, and then trade two spots down again with the Eagles.
For moving down those two spots, they picked up only a sixth round pick from both the Bucs and Eagles. Am I missing something here? Was there more to the story? I know there's a numerical chart which assigns value for each pick, but it just seems like that was a small price for the Bucs and Eagles to pay. If I'm a Browns fan, I don't like moving down a total of 4 spots in the first round for two lousy 6th round picks. |

Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion
I'd take Tebow in a heartbeat. Some guys are just winners and he's one of them. (I still prefer JC though)
