Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion
I can't believe I watched the whole thing. Even without our 2nd, I am thrilled that we filled a definite need with a very good prospect.
Bring on tomorrow. |

Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion
I say with our next pick we get Lawrence Sidbury, he reminds me of a young Fred Dean. I'm sad we didn't get Mack but happy Cleveland did.

Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion
Our pick at 80 has super important. It has to be right. I like BPA approach at that point but a solid DT/OT/OG/LB/C is really preferred. I like the idea of a C with Guard abilities or vice versa. We can probably get a starting C at 80. A guy like Antoine Caldwell we'd have to jump on. He can play guard and works hard. He'd projects as an improvement on Rabach pretty quick.

Then his definition of excellence must mean "sucks donkey dong and gets called for holding at exactly the worst time." I guess we know GTripp is def not Snyder in disguise.

Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion
So my thoughts on todays draft...
interesting how Tyson Jackson went third overall The raiders showed classically why they draft in the top ten every year (DHB over crabtree???) Detroit had an ok draft but really should have gotten an olineman I stead of pettigrew Surprising the broncos got moreno but then again I guess they knew how they lost all there RBs last year The jags passed on crabtree was another surprise The packers had on of the best drafts and it'll probably get better Couldn't believe orakpo fell to us great pickup just want to know what position will he play here DE or OLB Sorry SFREDSKIN but you'll have to root for the browns now that your mack is going there The eagles getting maclin was surprising seeing they needed a tall fast guy and that maclin fell that far Michael oher falling to Balt and them taking him The chargers getting my favorite player in the draft in larry English, but then again they do have merriman and Phillips sooo?? Why draft him?? The colts not getting a DT or LB or WR but a RB wight they're first pick The bills getting a center Instead of a tackle Dolphins getting pat white will be great in the wildcat Maualuga not going in the first The raiders once again draft an unknown who at best would have gone in the seventh round...makes me wonder who they get with there worse picks a very fast blind man Steelers getting a DT/DE The Vikings got my RT loadholt I'm thankful that the jets got sanchez I hope tomorrow we target jamon Meredith or freeman or joe burnett or sidbury (?) to play the position orakpo wouldn't Jason watkins Jason Williams nic Harris jarret dillard Ramses barden kaluka maiava Kevin Ellison brandon Williams edwin Williams DUKE ROBINSON |

WOW, corner is a surprise if we didn't go OLB or O-line, I would've loved to have grabbed a RB..

Re: 2009 NFL Draft Chat/Discussion
Makes no sense to me. Continue to ignore the depth/talent issues on the offensive line. They think Jason Campbell was the reason for the collapse? But don't pay attention to the offensive line? Jamon Meredith should have been the pick.
