Re: Glenn admits lying about suspension
"I didn't mean to confuse anyone." HA! Then why did you flat out lie? Would it have been so hard to say "it was a matter between Coach Pelini and myself, and it has been handled." I mean come on.
This pick was a head scratcher when we made it IMO. He's played all of 9 games at LB in his entire life, and he's obviously got character red flags. Now it looks worse obviously. It's my understanding we didn't have any O-lineman rated as starters when we took Barnes in the 3rd. OK. I'll buy that. I'm cool with the Barnes pick. But you mean to tell me we didn't have any O-lineman rated higher than this dude in the 5th round??

Meredeth and Robinson were on the board and instead we took Glenn? The FO didn't check this guy thoroughly, and on top of that he wasn't the best available OLB, but we'll see if he produces. |

This guy was a running back for most of college and only played 9 games at linebacker. He showed some flashes in those games, but he is very inexperienced. I don't know if he is going to get good or not, but I'll give the Redskins the benefit of the doubt. The Redskins draft picks have been pretty good lately, (they just haven't had enough of them) so I actually sort of trust them when it comes to players they actually draft.

{Yawn} Wake me up when one of picks does or says something exciting after the final cut.

Re: Glenn admits lying about suspension
Does anyone know why we took him. Was he realy talented, was his coach a friend of our coaches, even he said he was shocked to be picked. When they took Montgomery it was Blaches friend that told him he was a steal. They must have had some info.

It's a f'ing 5th pick people, it's not like we drafted Percy Harvin or Pacman Jones. If we were the Lions, no one would care.

He was probably thinking about a big Hershey bar during the press conference. LOL.

But he did name several sources for ganja in the greater Minneapolis area. He knows about the important things.

Thank you, this is seriously not a big deal. I am sure the FO knows this all. If they don't then he will be gone. Oh yeah, we got him in the 5th. Not like this is Orakpo stuff. Also even when all that Reggie Bush stuff came out it didn't even matter. The kid made a mistake. We are all forgetting that he was a young kid in college. Have you never lied in your life? Be honest with yourself. Not saying it is right, but you learn what honesty is and then you grow.
