Re: Release Him!!!
Oh my god,.....I decided to post something in here and thought of writing;
Cerrato.........oh wait he's a play..a not a play..er. lol. Maybe next yr when Holmgren is ready to restart his career we can talk him into taking over GM. |

Re: Release Him!!!
How is this not the title of a Colt Brennan thread?

Re: Release Him!!!
The version I like to come up with is Cerrato is hoisting the Lombardi trophy as champagne is pouring over him next February then just turns and hands the trophy to Snyder and says "Well, my work here is done" and rides off onto the sunset. Isn't that so much more family friendly?

Ceratto doesn't know how to lift the trophy. He sucks. Now GM's from teams like New England, or Pittsburgh, they know how to lift a trophy.

Re: Release Him!!!
But in all seriousness, I don't think Cerrato is quite as bad as people say he is. That said, I think this or next season will be his last as the EVP of Football Operations and he will move on to bigger, more non-football related matters for Snyder.

What makes you think that? You think Snyder will make a move for a GM? Or do you think this will be Cerrato's decision? Just curious where your thought process is with this. |

Re: Release Him!!!
I think Snyder would ultimately like to have Cerrato be more of his right hand man for stuff other than football decisions. Ideally Mo Brown or Scott Campbell (reportedly more so Mo Brown) will gain more experience this next year or two and move up the ladder.

Re: Release Him!!!
Hmmm, that's interesting. This is the first I've heard anyone say something like that. I would be interested to see if we could get a REAL GM here. I'm not familiar with either of those names so my next question would inevitably be...are they worth the inordinate amount of money Snyder would most definitely pay them?
