Re: Training Camp Updates:
70-what about Marcus Mason? Anything on him?
I hear Chase had another up and down day.

The situation with the QBs is hard to evaluate as well. I mean, If you're Chase, are you going to check down or are you going to say "What the hell?" and chuck it deep more times than not? Ditto PJ. They have nothing to lose or very little anyways. The fans see them hurling it long and say, "that's the kind of QB we need etc. etc." The thing that worries me is that I'm not sure Campbell has the ability to anticipate the movement of people on the field well enough to know where to go with the ball. This is the classic QB failing, IMO. As a result, he waits until he sees it with his own two eyes, which is often too late. Collins can anticipate better, but can't get the ball there if it's more than twenty yards away. If we coulk throw those two in a blender and make one QB smoothie we might have something. Throw in a little vodka never hurts. But as I said before, perhaps JC was simple off on Saturday. To answer your question more directly, he still lokks like the Marcus Mason that has impressed us these past few pre-seasons. He could play in this league, IMO. The fact that he's back here is one of the bigger surprises to me. I figured he would definitely catch on with the next team he was with, didn't you?

Re: Training Camp Updates:
I dont know if Rhinehart is doing good, he is just doing "better" compared to the other Olineman.

According to the Post, the defense is tearing apart the O-Line. That's going to make Zorn lose his job, and it's not his fault.

Re: Training Camp Updates:
What did you expect? we went out and got 1 of the best DT's in the league and we got the best passrusher in the draft IMO.plus Daniels is back and playing well. We didnt invest much in the Oline so ofcourse they are behind.

Re: Training Camp Updates:
Does anyone think that maybe the front office has TOO MUCH faith in Joe Bugel's coaching abilities? I sometimes feel like Snyder might think that because of what Buges did back in the day he still turn any half decent player into a Hog, and that is part of the reason that they (the FO) haven't put more into stacking the O-line with stronger/younger talent.

Re: Training Camp Updates:
Another point made was the defense knows the plays and everyone is simply practicing. The more I think about it, the less worried I am. If they gel enough to stop our dline half the time, alot of the other teams are going to be piece o' cakes!
