Re: Redskins vs. Steelers Game Thread

Theismann says Thomas waited for the ball -- while the DB drove in for it...

Oh well, nice drive for the starting offense against the Steelers starting D -- but the fake punt helped...

Still wouldn't mind seeing them actually put the ball in the endzone though.

I think you have to consider it two different drives.

Campbell was pretty good on third down, but he didn't have a completion on first or second down. Part of that was bizarre playcalling with the deep balls, and the rest of it seemed to be just runs.

How was Campbell good on third downs. He was 1 for 7. Ummm, pretty bad in my books

Which third down are you speaking of? He was 1 for 7.

He completed a pass for a first down, it got called back for illegal formation, and he completed the next pass for a first down.

We ran on two third downs, with a 50% success rate.

If sellers injury is serious, then we'll probably get Lorenzo Neal. Just watch.

Re: Redskins vs. Steelers Game Thread

Man, Orakpo is a stud... he seems to be in on every play. Theismann is dead wrong saying Thomas waited on the ball while the defensive guy moved towards it. It was a soft pass into coverage and the defensive guy just ran in front and caught it. I didn't see Thomas sitting there waiting for the ball on the replay.

Lets see now... 6 quarters and 3 points. Hmmmm......

Re: Redskins vs. Steelers Game Thread

I'd hope that we were more testing the qb, wr's, and play calls more so than that being an actual plan for the drive
