Which is why I would only use him to advise DS and Zorn. Now if Holmgren gets things changed around then maybe offer him the job or at the least fire Vinny and hire Holmgren in that position. He can bring in people who would work well in the WCO and still advise Zorn. If it doesn't straighten out shit can everyone and start rebuilding.

Seriously. Look how discombobulated the Jets, Falcons and Ravens are. We don't want that mess around here. Oh wait, I almost forgot about the Dolphins last year. What a disaster that was. And let's not forget about the abysmall Sean Peyton/Drew Brees experiment. What a train wreck that was.

I think those teams had new coaches put in during the offseason, not in the early part of the regular season.

but holmgren does run the same system so he is uniquely equipped to step in immediately. this team has too much talent to be handicapped by a guy like zorn who's learning on the job

Do you think we could turn this around...I am about ready to toss that towel in...we should have lost to the rams who suck, and we did actually lose to the lions. I think I have a better chance at winning the lottery than salvaging this season at this point.

Re: Now What??

Zorn must go w/o question. I'm not advocating a new coach brought in...make Buges the interim HC for the season or something similar. The important thing is to get Zorn as far away from the headset as possible. His playcalling and overall coaching performance is like a cancer...it just spreads the worst possible scenarios around the field every time we get the ball.

Re: Now What??

You probably don't want to fire Zorn before the second home game, but if you start 1-3, you can't really afford to waste the rest of the season.

Really though, the only other coach on the staff who is qualified to be a head coach is Jerry Gray. You can't get rid of Zorn and keep Blache. This team is poorly coached because of the both of them.

I disagree. Buges has been a coach in the NFL for many years. As an assistant and a HC. He can do the job and is more than qualified to take over if needed.

I agree completely. Jerry Gray for interim coach. But Snyder will give Blache the reins and that will just make things worse.

Wow... blame it on Campbell who has been decent this year... Amazing. Maybe, just maybe we should be looking at the play calling and the coaches overall. With Sanchez this team would just be plain disgusting(more so then they are already). This coaching staff would've ruined Sanchez.

Re: Now What??

Fire Blache, promote Gray and cut Betts. The team spent $153 mil on defense and teams move the ball all over the place. INEXCUSABLE!!!

Just cause we spend money doesn't mean we have players. Fire the guy that's picking the players.
