LOL well Kudos to u man, because I see injuries and i'm pretty sure when they are serious but I can't tell u the exact injury or else I'd be a Doctor.

Well our problems won't be solved in one offseason.

If problems exist with depth especially on OL then you're talking about 4-5 quality players additions just to shore up one dimension.

What we need is a change in approach from our Front Office over an extended period of time. That's why it's so important we have a personnel person capable of managing that effort and making certain it strategically goes in one direction in a duration of years as opposed to one season.

Yea but in the NFL, teams change so much and so fast. Look at Cincy, they were 4-11-1 last yr and now they will win their division this yr.

Not if the CBA doesn't get signed. There may be no cap but the number of free agents will be limited due to rules governing an uncapped year.

Just goes to show, if you're continually building a consistent, strong team around a viable scheme you don't need to rely heavily on new free agent additions to push your team over the edge.

Well hopefully we can spend more picks on the Offensive side of the ball and only have to replace a few pieces on Defense for next yr.

Re: more injury news

I just want it said that no team could withstand these kind of injuries and I am kind of sick of listening to the critics. Today I heard that we should have had more running backs, thats BS. Every running back they put in has done great. Any team that loses their pro bowl left tackle, their RG, and their pro bowl running back are not going to fair a whole lot better.

Ok...but there is a noticeable drop off from our starters to their respective backups.

We may have suffered a lot of injuries but what other teams haven't done is leave those positions to such unqualified backups like we have. Our team places too much significance on the quality of its starters and not enough in their backups or overall depth.

Well we have depth at every position, but Oline. Very few can lose their LT. Tell me one team that can.

We have people that fill our roster but I'd be hard pressed calling that depth.

We don't have depth at OL?...that's 5 people right there. We don't have depth at WR, DE, LB, CB. That is too many positions in which we don't have qualified backups or would be in a way worse situation if the starters from those positions went down.

I just don't see the depth that you are seeing on our team.

I see us having depth at WR, RB, CB, DE, DT, QB and good back ups for LB. Just need a starter at SAM.

Yep. And sometimes they overvalue the quality of the starters.
