The next Clinton Portis trashtalk victim: Lavar Arrington

Can CP just shut his pie hole for a few months? The guy got his bell rung and disappeared for the second half. This organization is trying to take a step forward and all I keep reading about is a guy who missed half the year spouting off.

Clinton is an idiot, so what true insight is he really going to bring? Allen and Shanny should put a gag order on him.

This is what I want from Portis. I want him to show up for all of the offseason activities and work his ass off. If he EARNS the starting spot then I will cheer for him as I always have. If not, see you later. I am tired of a guy who didn't play dividing this team further. Just shut the f--- up.

A couple of egos on two guys without a ton of intelligence. Push me and I'll push you back I guess. Rather than take the high road, LaVar took a couple of sentences by Clinton and went on a rant that didn't make a lot of sense. He should have just laughed at CP and given him a "whatever you say little guy." Instead he played right into his hands by letting Portis push his button big time.

I really don't care much for either of these guys at this point, although I will say I like LaVar more than CP.

Lavar got injured and cried about Gibbs not visiting him at the hospital. He also got mad becuase of Gibbs "Earn your starter spot" philosophy and thought he should just be given his spot back after the injury. He complained about a ton of stuff and was just as vocal as Portis. After becoming a NY Giant, he admitted that he wasn't smart enough to know his own old defense but it didn't matter because he gave them our old playbook, which he still had.

I got no respect for him. When he was good, he was great, but not for long. His great instincts cause a lot of disruption, but sometimes his being off came at the worst times and he caused big plays for the other team. He talked trash about Gibbs, threw the Redskins under the bus, and without us, he did squat. I doubt Portis' opinion is far off.

You and CP are spot on. I forgot about taking the playbook to the GMen. As for Gibbs, I believe LaVar's term for him was "Coward."
