Every time I read that post of his about our former QB's it sounds like a rehash of things that I've read from ES over the years from idiots and the sheep that say YEAH!!!!!! At least I hope that wasn't his original thoughts. Glad that you actually took the time to break down each one.

JC would be a up grade for the Raiders QB situation. I just hope we get a least a 3rd pick for JC cause we have no F***ing draft picks this year.

Would love to see a trade that gets us a decent pick so we could possibly pick up Toby Gehrhart. Sellers is a little long in the tooth.

Re: Campbell will now stay away from Redskins Park

Campbell just signed his one year tender today. Hard to imagine that no team would be willing to part with a 1st and a 3rd for him! I imagine that caught him completely by surprise. Kind of like the sinking feeling of REALITY that he has been talking to clubs for a week and nobody has even offered a 2nd round pick for him.....or a 3rd.
On top of that he is rumored to be headed to a BACKUP spot in Carolina. What is that about? Isn't that what he has HERE in D.C? I thought he was asking for permission to locate a STARTING job?

Reality is a deeeeeeep and vast pit several miles down down down. Its either time for Campbell to come into the real world after 5 years of "well, you know...we just have to work harder and its a team effort....and we're gonna look at da film".

Ya know what Jason. Ya need some fire in your butt. And you need to get some 5 hour energy going. On top of that you need to stop having your feelings hurt because somebody doesn't hand you a job or because someone is actually unhappy that you can't hit the deep ball and can't bring a team from behind on even one 80 yard drive.
Come on into the real world and get with it here, or get ready for more of the same and a backup spot in Carolina. It's put up or shutup week for Campbell. Lets see if anybody will pay the price now that he is reasonably available.

.
We only tendered him at a 1st round level; on top of that we can entertain a trade offer for him. They only have to give up what he's tender at if they send an offer directly to him and we don't match it.

Ask The Commish.com - Free Agency 101 -- this will give you some details on how free agency works

Re: Campbell will now stay away from Redskins Park

I honestly dont know if staying out of camp is good or bad for him at this point.

I mean i know why he wouldnt want to be there, and i dont blame him, but if he ends up staying here, that could really factor against him because you know how Shanahan likes active participation. It wouldn't surprise me if Jason is #3 because Shanahan didn't like that Jason wasn't very involved.

That will all change as soon as Rex has to step on the field in a real game.

McNabb has to come out, Rex steps in. 2 plays later, Coach Shanahan asks Jason to get loose because Rex can't convert a 3rd and 57.

uhhh, shanahan approves of jason staying away. he might have even been the one who suggested campbell stay away: 1) he doesn't want campbell getting hurt and eliminating whatever trade value campbell has left. 2) his presence would be awkward for the team. donovan is the teams leader now and campbells presence would only be a distraction.
