Article 1, Section 8:
To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;

Article 1, Section 9:
The Migration ... of such Persons as any of the States now existing shall think proper to admit, shall not be prohibited by the Congress prior to the 1808, ....

Keep in mind that Section 9 states that after 1808 Congress not just the States had the legal standing to set Immigration laws. I don't think it has ever been argued that a Nation can't regulate it's borders, that would be a little ridiculous.

Anyway Tramp I know your ideas of conservatism are not like the mainstream media. Small government is a mantra that is being manipulated. Small government aka "let's let the private sector do it". That's where things get tricky: private contractor police and prisons, private contractor army. To me, if they are being paid money out the treasury they are the government. Same thing. I am not talking bout Tramps conservatism I am talking about the conservatism listed on the preapproved media outlets for the peasants.

Patrick Henry, wasn't he the guy who rode on the horse yelling the british are comming, and then after the british landed we had a light for 1th by land and 2th by sea. That was the clue for the tea baggers to hop on their ships and dump their coffee into the black sea. Then the Brits declared war on us and thats what started WWI. I was pretty good in history but I cannot remember how Japan entered the war. Was it that they shot Lincoln?

i don't understand, are the 47% not receiving a federal deduction from their paycheck or does it mean that when they file for their return, if they owe money, they don't have to pay it ?

how does someone know if you qualify for this(besides making between x amount of dollers) 16% of people making between 50 and 100 k qualify. how can i find out if i'm one of those 16% ?

I don't always agree with people like CRedskins, GMscud, and FRPLG, but at the end of the day I do respect their ability to cogently present and argue their respective positions. But Firstdown, you are just a headscratcher. 　You are against tax-cuts now? I really question whether you even understand your own political philosophy.

Yeah people try to switch up arguements, but when it comes down to the basic principle of are you keeping more of your money vs is the government keeping more of it, most republicans I know identify former idea. I think the switch up of arguements is do to the fact who is in the office of the President or controlling congress at the time. Im sure if these tax breaks were during Bush's time in office, this thread would be started celebrating this fact.

That's why politicals discussions are just such horsesh*t these days. People are so polarized and not will to give credit when due or admitt when their side is wrong...its really quite funny.
