I would have thought all along that today was the day AH trade talk would heat up. We were never getting a #1 for him so up until all the interested teams make their 2nd round pick it seems to me it's still possible.

Read through the first few posts after the pick was made and you can figure it out.

Do we really want Brown anymore now that we have Williams? If we land a high 2nd round pick I would rather use it on a young player...like Charles Brown or Jimmy Clausen.

What? Me personally...I want Andre Roberts from The Citadel...kinda of a guilty pleasure since that is my school.

We need a vet who can play LT on the roster. You have to have a plan B just in case.

Why does it need to be a vet? If I have a high 2nd round pick I would rather get another rookie tackle like Charles Brown as opposed to a 28 or 29 year old veteran. I would be willing to go through some growing pains to have bookends for the next 10 years. I liked Brown as an option more before we spent the 4th pick on an OT.

We have to sleep in the bed we made for ourselves. Besides, Flozell has plenty left in the tank.

Re: The Official 2010 NFL Draft Thread: Round 1

I sure wouldn't hate it if we picked up another quality lineman like Brown. Williams alone didn't fix all of our OL issues.
