If you just do "Quick Match" or whatever the "play some random person online" option is, it will make you dl the "current" roster. It has Jamal and a bunch of other mediocre assumptions about the Skins final 53. No Beck, though

Re: Madden 2011

Most bad reviews are from Madden veterans like us who dont like the computer calling plays for us and not being able to use turbo.

However, when you turn turbo on, and call your own plays, its just like the madden of old.

I like it...huge upgrade from last year

Re: Madden 2011

I think that the off target passes are balanced by the fact the recievers make those sideline circus catches now (nice give and take). I haven't thrown too many picks but I sure as hell take a lot of sacks. I like the feel of the locomotion and have had no prolems in the running game. The only thing that has really pissed me off is when I throw a deep pass to a WR and it appears as if he is right under the ball and he doesn't catch it. Sure they will try and catch underthrown balls but they won't put their hands up for a perfectly thrown pass.

Yeah the WRs don't seem to want to put in much effort to catch some balls, but yeah the trade off is they'll make some crazy sideline grabs too. I hear ya on the sacks too, seems that the coverages are better or maybe the pass rush is more fierce (or maybe both?), but I'm definitely taking too many sacks right now.

looks awesome, but I could see that rc car getting old quick. I liked the look of the map that had a rocket taking off in the background and being able to record clips from multiplayer will be super bad ass.

Re: Madden 2011

I have had flurries of minor injuries but nothing major. My most serious was McNabb for half a game with bruised ribs. At that point in time though I had a 30+ point lead and my running game was lighting it up. When I did have to pass with sexy Rexy it was ugly. I think that he completed 1 of 7 for 5 yards. He was sacked 3 times.

Re: Madden 2011

Just bought a Xbox copy off eBay for $40 off a guy in my office! To funny it said it was shipping from my hometown so I said I can pick it up if you end it now at $40 (saves him on shipping).

He was like ok where do you work try to find a meet place come to find out he is on the other side of the building. Paid him on paypal and walked over and got the game, fastest transaction I have ever had on eBay!

Re: Madden 2011

Okay, I'll admit: I have a wii and no 360 or PS3. I've looked at the madden 11 for wii and I'm still not a fan of the cartoony graphics. The motion controls are okay... they at least improved on it from last year. Still like the 360 or PS3 versions better.

I'll probably just stick to playing Madden 08 on Gamecube for now. (Yes, Gamecube.)

He did activate the code so add 800 Microsoft points, still a good deal. That code is a bunch BS. Can the video game industry nickle and dime us anymore? Good lord.

Re: Madden 2011

Anyone else see a bug where if you change the game difficulty to All-Madden it doesn't stick? So far I like the game....my only gripe is that they made it easy to run people over and break out big plays.
