Among worst? Ouch...your WRs are as good as the QB throwing to them. Those beautiful on point bullets that McNabb throws are going to make them look good....real good.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic here or not. Assuming you're not... point on bullets from McNabb? He's notorious for throwing at receivers' feet. Or behind them. However, McNabb has had good seasons with guys like Reggie Brown, Todd Pinkston, and Freddie Mitchell. But that was also with Brian Westbrook in his prime. Yes, I think right now on paper we've got one of the worst receiving corps in the league. How many teams in the league would have Santana Moss as their #1? Ick.

Malcolm Kelly: 28 Recs, 365 Yds, 0 TDs
Devin Thomas: 40 Recs, 445 Yds, 3 TDs
Fred Davis: 51 Recs, 563 Yds, 6 TDs

Total: 118 Recs, 1373 Yds, 9 TDs

Funny story, those totals are worse than Andre Johnson from last season (outside of receptions).

You know what's not difficult? Going to NFL.com, searching for each player's stats and then posting them...

# Rich Campbell

Shanahan was asked what he thought of Kelly coming out of college in 2008. He said DEN wasn't looking for a WR so he didn't study him [MORE]
...but Denver drafted WR Eddie Royal nine spots before Washington drafted Kelly. To me, that speaks volumes. 5 minutes ago via TweetDeck

That is interesting

Re: Update: Malcolm Kelly To Be Placed On IR

I'm sort of glad Kelly ended up on IR, it seemed inevitable at this point. I would have been a bit disappointed if he had been cut. Right now, I'd like to see Moss, Galloway, Armstrong, Thomas, and Banks with Banks returning kicks, although he may not have helped his cause much against the Jets. I really haven't seen anything at all from Austin that would put him on this team.

Re: Update: Malcolm Kelly To Be Placed On IR

Bottom line is both these guys continue to be a major disappointments and both look to be busts. Thanks Vinny.

Thomas cut in our WR corp? No way, we are way to weak even to cut Thomas at this point. I think that would be a mistake. He deserves one season under Shanny.

Malcom Kelly, can someone please tell me why I should give a flying f*ck about this guy? cut'm, IR him, i dont give a sh*t

Banks is making this team....guaranteed! One only needs to see Shanny's face as he talks about him to know that.

I feel like Shanahan thinks he's Eddie Royal.

I really hope he ends up making the team, I think he could end up being a good return guy and maybe a nice little gadget player to have.

I'd like to add, I'm not as quick as others to say "Thomas is making the team." Right now, I think he will, but I'm not so sure Shanahan likes him or his hands all that much. (This is really based on nothing other than some strange feeling I have re: Thomas)

Thomas is making the team, I don't even see him being on the bubble at this point.

As for Kelly, to be continued...

Wouldn't be one bit surprised if Thomas gets cut due to the fact that he stinks.

Not a chance.

He's our second or third best WR.

He hasn't done much this preseason...because he hasn't been put on the field. I really think he's a lock to make it, that's why Shanahan has been featuring Armstrong, Williams, Wade, Austin and Banks in the preseason. He has some tough choices to make at the back end of the WR depth chart. Armstrong has stepped up. But beyond that, there are at least 4 good candidates for the final two spots.

Thomas wasn't even on the field for the Jets game...of course he's been quiet. He's supposed to play a lot for the final game, but I don't see how his roster spot is up in the air.
