Moss is watching sportscenter like everyone else, that is why those teams are on the site. He has no control on what team will put a waiver on him.

re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)

I doubt Moss is constantly starting polls on his own website... I mean... I don't know the guy, but I don't think he's got Summo on the red phone waiting to make new Moss avatars for his forum members once he chooses.

I wonder if he's got some way to get what he wants though. I mean why did he ultimately throw that tirade on TV after the Patriots game. He wants out of Min, and he found the best way to do it.

So at this point, I'd think its a very real possibility that he'll tell teams, "Look, I'm not going to play if you claim me... let me get what I want.. etc etc"

From a business perspective, I certainly think Moss commands a significant amount of leverage when choosing where he wants to go.

re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)

Vick is reported to have slaughtered over 50 to 100 dogs in gruesome and brutal ways...
We have Players who have killed people while drinking and driving...
We have players who have used guns and/or waived guns and been incarcerated for years because of it.
The list goes on and on including breaking into a donut shop to steal donuts...

Moss to my knowledge has never committed a crime or been suspended or put on noticed because of problems off the field.

His worse enemy is his mouth and his effort and ego.

Working in the food industry as long as I have in my life,i find what he said and did to those caterers very appalling and disturbing...
But to give Michael Vick a shot,Pac man Jones and many,MANY others a chance...and to forget about Randy Moss would in itself be a crime.

Specially, when he's head and shoulders better than all those who have been in trouble with the League.

I still hop we claim him!

I just wanted to share my personal feelings on this matter.
Because imo...If we don't get him,we more than likely and probably won't see the playoffs at the rate we are going this season.
I think a Player of Moss's caliber could "POSSIBLY" give this team a shot in the arm of talent, that they so desperately need and have needed for many years at the Wideout position.

I think Shanahan knows this...and I think him and son have had a long discussion about this as well...his aquisition can only help this team.

cause we already have controversy, distractions and Media hate from all directions imo...

lol..funny
Yes,I thought we would be awesome with new staff and company and I was wrong.

If we don't get Moss,we MIGHT be able to grab a wild card..maybe
That's assuming we can win at least 5 out of the last 8 game, including a little help with other teams losing.

We play philly at home who are always tougher when they are on the road. They just seem to play better...

We have a dallas team on the road

The Giants and their pass rush twice...

A pumped up Tampa team exceeding all expectations...and a conference rival going back at least 10 years..

A really good tennessee team who has so far..swept our division...and easily.

A Vikings team in turmoil, yet very talented.

And a Jacksonville team still in the hunt for a playoff spot in the AFC South.

So even if we get randy Moss and he morphs into his 22 year old Marshall body...it's going to be a task to get 5 wins from this...

Without him?
And it could get very ugly..
Specially, with what has already started with McNabb and coaching staff...

We may not get Moss, because another team a head of us claims him...And that's fine. That's just how it is.

But the Redskins not putting in a waiver claim for this guy, would be a very stupid football decision in my book.

But who the hell knows anymore what we'll do.

I mean damn...J.Russell is trying out at QB for the redskins...lol

Anything is possible at this point..

re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)

When should we know when he is available or who claimed? Sorry if this has already been answered.

Mortensen said about 30 minutes after the 4 pm (EST) deadline.
So 4:30 for EST or in my case for central time..3:30 pm today.

The reason it's at this time is...

lets say the rams put a claim on Moss and at 3.56: pm(EST)...Carolina calls and says.."yea..we want Moss..we'll do it!"

Then carolina gets him.
That's why we have to wait, for those confused about all this stuff...

re: Randy Moss Waived (claimed by Titans)

and 1 more thing i want to say and hope shanny is thinking about...
Lets say for a second...we don't want him here and don't need him here..? OK?

What about the Giants and Eagles, who pick after us?
Who is to say they don't put a waiver claim in for him?

Have you see how affective our secondary is against 6"4" WR's in coverage has been lately?
A.Johnson? Calvin Johnson?
They alone have burnt our Defense and won their respective teams the game.

Can you imagine having to cover Moss playing for either team?

"Naw..ace..eagles won't claim him...they don't need him"!
really?

Like they didn't need Vick and his past?

Giants are already good as well...how much better are they with Moss...

Oh..and btw..those 2 teams happen to be in front of us in a very tight race, for the division title.

You almost have to grab Moss,to block him from them 2 teams..imo

Not to mention,we have little in the passing game to offer as it is.

Ok..I've said what I needed to say.
