Gaea

Gaea is the Earth goddess. She mated with her son Uranus to produce the remaining Titans. Gaea seems to have started as a neolithic earth-mother worshipped before the Indo-European invasion that eventually lead to the Hellenistic civilization.

Uranus

Uranus is the sky god and first ruler. He is the son of Gaea , who created him without help. He then became the husband of Gaea and together they had many offspring, including twelve of the Titans.

His rule ended when when Cronus, encouraged by Gaea, castrated him. He either died from the wound or withdrew from earth


Cronus

Cronus was the ruling Titan who came to power by castrating his Father Uranus. His wife was Rhea. There offspring were the first of the Olympians. To insure his safety Cronus ate each of the children as they were born. This worked until Rhea, unhappy at the loss of her children, tricked Cronus into swallowing a rock, instead of Zeus. When he grew up Zeus would revolt against Cronus and the other Titans, defeat them, and banish them to Tartarus in the underworld.

Cronus managed to escape to Italy, where he ruled as Saturn. The period of his rule was said to be a golden age on earth, honored by the Saturnalia feast.

Now if that doesn't have you saying "motherf***ing Titans (well at least Uranus)" I don't know what will!

That was the first time I had ever listened to that show. I don't pick up that show down here in Martinsville, VA (at least I don't think so) so this was the first time I had ever listened to the Lavar show. I must say, I listened to every single work Dukes said and I have to admit that at the time, it made me feel a little better. I think we all display our loyalty to the Redskins in different, sometimes odd ways. I can't say that I didn't agree with what Dukes was saying. In an odd way, it got me fired up again. It is definitely OK to approach your favorite team with a level head, but sometimes you just need something, good or bad, to get you fired up! I think that is what this team has been missing this year. I haven't seen much fire to it. Maybe Monday night is what they needed.

With that said, I hope they go into Tennessee with an attitude of wanting to knock someone's head off!

Why is it such a big deal about the Chad Dukes rant? Why are people getting so up in arms about him not being a real fan etc. Who cares? You win some you, you lose some, do you really have to put someone in their place because they aren't a true fan, whatever that means?

Has anyone seen the Chapelle Show series "When Keepin it Real Goes Wrong?". If you haven't seen it it's hilarious but true.

It's great to be "real" but people get so carried away they aren't being "real" they just act stupid.

I'm not mad that he's mad, it's the fact that his "rant" is supposed to be some kind of rallying cry for the intelligent fan. In all honesty it was almost acceptable UNTIL he went into his whole I blame you Dan Snyder leave my team alone shit. I'm sorry but as a fan we have to play our role. We place ourselves on such a high pedastal it's gotten a bit irritating. Damn Im giving shit away,... gotta save it for the camera.
