That was Jacoby Jones..

Sounds like Cullen Jenkins will be signed today.. Junkies and PFW reporting a deal is close. Our defense has the potential to be sick!

Per Mike Florio, Perry Riley is penciled in as starter at ILB.

Glad to hear that, Riley looked good with limited opportunities last season.. And now we won't have to worry about him getting penalized w/ holding calls during kickoff/punt returns :cool-smil

Warren Sapp said something pretty interesting on Twitter. He certainly seemed to imply that Cullen Jenkins was the best NOSE TACKLE available on the market. It's possible he meant Kris Jenkins, but it would be fascinating and interesting if Barry Cofield moved to end and Cullen Jenkins came in over the center in our scheme.

That might be the kind of ingenuity required to make this defensive front work. It also has no chance of happening here.

Anybody besides me think Selvish Capers will be getting a lot of work at RT this pre-season?

I do, he's a guy that has supposedly has the athelticism to be pretty good, but needed a lot of work out of college. I remember his draft stock plummeting after the sr. bowl when he got beat my pass rushers a lot. With a year behind him maybe he'll show some progress. Don't know if he's cut out for guard, but if he struggles w/edge rushers that might be a home for him in this zone scheme; seems some former tackles are well suited to play guard in it.
