most of those were judged as bad signings at the time.. El and lloyd were horribly overpaid. L Coles was a GOOD signing and was productive, even after he got slow. walt harris was fine as a #3/#4 and had a rogers like year after we let him go too.

What the hell happened to Chris Baker. They promote him to the active roster and the first day he gets hurt. C'mon man.

Re: 2012 redskins

The Redskins signed Mike Hamlin, to their proctice squad. I thought he started allot of games for the Cowboys and got flam bayed, but his stats showed he really never played much. I wonder if anyone else remembers him playing for the Cowboys.

Ken Hamlin was the one who started many games for the Boys.

Just a hunch, but I doubt that we see Hightower next season. Royster, Helu, and maybe one from the draft or a free agent. I really don't think Shanahan will want to play with damaged goods.

Players are subject to injuries. Hightower is young and he takes good care of his body. He's great value for what they traded to get him and what he brings to the table. Royster hasn't shown much and therefore he'll be back to the PS next year.

how bout a LaMichael James? Helu has speed, but not that kind of speed.

I believe that this system of Shanny's relies on excellent blockers at WR so guys with just Helu speed can take it to the house. More speed is nice, but vision and agility is more important (regardless of system). But there is no harm in taking a look, now is there.

Note: I've watched any college ball, so this is just a general statement.

He hasn't shown as much as Helu, but he had some nice runs against the Giants in relief of Helu. I say Roster gets more playing time next season.

Indeed, we need more playing time from the Roster next year. If we can't get more playing time from the Roster where is it going to come from? Put this on the list as one of the major questions for 2012.
