Simple, they have nothing to gain. They'd rather throw in a controlled workout, throwing to WRs they are familiar with.

Love for Peyton Manning to show up the combine and throw with the QBs. Shutting up all the hatters saying he cant throw right now.

Translating to the NFL, I'm sure that's what he meant.

I think most teams and evaluators put more stock in watching game film vs throwing in shorts at the combine.

Re: The Official 2012 NFL Combine Thread

I would like to see RG3 and Luck throw at the combine just because it would be fun to watch but the reality is it means nothing in terms of the evaluation process. They have nothing to lose or gain by doing it. The important things for Luck & RG3 this week will happen off the field.

Redskins Request Private Visit With LSU's Michael Brockers - Hogs Haven

It's not going to be the fan favorite if the Skins pick him at #6 especially since defense was such a major part of the draft last year and the fact we need a QB but .... what else is new.

They are exploring all options, maybe they won't take him at #6 but if they trade down he might be someone they are looking at.

After seeing what the NYG did with their defensive line in the playoffs, I might be able to get on board with this.

not me. the difference is the Giants play decent D or cause a turnover and their OFFENSE could make the other team pay. We play the same way and f*ckin Rex is 3 and out, or turning the ball back over, or Gano is getting his kick blocked.

Our problem is offense, its dreadful.

Right, but there is more than one path to the top of the mountain. Sorry I don't have on my QB blinders for our 1st, but their is more than one way to get a QB. Not sure how you took this to mean that I wanted to retain Rex.

Gaints played decent D? Umm they stop GB and held ATL to 2 points. Not even mentioning what they did in the Super Bowl.

Eli is better than Rex. Its as simple as that. Rex Grossman is a good QB for both teams; he keeps both of them in the game!
