Now if they would sign Fletcher and Fred Davis.

Re: Montgomery signs 4 year deal, Hankerson has hip surgery

I googled "hip surgery recovery NFL", and came up with below. Not sure if they had torn labrums..

1) Aaron Hernandez hip surgery 2/2011 - 79 catches 910yds in 2011
2) Eddie Royal hip surgery 2/2011 - was fine in 2011, numbers down from Tebowmania

Hope Hank recovers well for a good sophomore season, we need good WRs and haven't had a good tall one in years.

I wouldn't want him anyway. Isn't he like 46 by now? Young FA, not decrepit ones...

Not a big fan of Montgomery. Was hoping we'd get someone a little bigger and stronger to hold things down in the middle.

That's why you get RG3. He can make'em miss with just the time it takes for the giants D line to run over montgomery. Just kidding, kind of.

Also, what are we paying montgomery? He did ok but he certainly isn't an elite center.

Yeah, but he's versatile. Can play Guard as well.

It was better to retain Montgomery than to let him depart via free agency since he can play either guard or center. Will Montgomery played a lot better in 2011 at center than Casey Rabach played in 2010.

What is: what does GTripp have in common with Will Montgomery?

You both could play center better than Rabach did in 2010?

Shanny likes smaller, inside swing linemen that are a little shorter and more athletic. Montgomery fits the bill.
