Joe Crisp.
Thank you. The camp coverage is absolutely amazing as usual. I was starting to get the shakes, which when I saw the 70th Anniversary van that is always driving around where I work turned into a full fledged seizure. It's great to have skins news. Keep up the good work!

Re: Joe Crisp.
What we really need is a MONTAGE...
Good to be back, I've been a little depressed lately. Thank goodness for Joe's camp coverage.

Re: Joe Crisp.
Special thanks as well to Mrs. Crisp - my wife wouldn't let me out for a weekend. What's your secret?

Great Montage (Montage) Joe C! Always excellent work! Will your work at TC be anything like this, I hope?

Backrow, I'm hoping that the training camp coverage will be even better this year. In addition to the video clips, audio clips and pictures, I'll also be able to provide more in-depth analysis of the team, since we'll be able watch the entire practices each day (at least for the part of camp open to the public). It looks like everyone enjoyed the video clips, so I'll definitely try to make that a staple of daily camp coverage in the future. This weekend I was able to establish an excellent rapport with the reporters from Extremeskins (John "Tarhog" Jeffries and Rick "TK-IV-II-I" Walker) and theHogs.net (Dan Hines and Scott Hurrey), and I think their presence at camp definitely helped establish the fan websites as a legitimate media presence at Redskins Park. I look forward to working with them at training camp in our effort to supplement the top-notch coverage provided by Redskins.com, and increase the volume of positive media coverage this team needs to counter-balance the negativity propagated by the national and local media outlets. I believe our combined efforts will enhance the profiles of our respective websites, while giving fans a more complete and well-rounded picture of what's really happening at Redskins Park. Thanks so much to the Washington Redskins staff for welcoming us to Redskins Park, and providing us with the same level of access afforded to the other media outlets. This is just another fabulous example of how the Redskins have chosen to provide the fans with an insider's "unfiltered" view of Redskins Park. Thanks again to Karl Swanson, Patrick Wixted, Will Norman, Shelby Morrison and all the Redskins staffers who've been so helpful throughout this process! |

Re: Joe Crisp.
Hey Joe and warpathers,
Scott Hurrey from theHogs.net. I want to echo Joe's sentiments here. It was great to get the three best fan sites on the net working together. I want to thank Joe for helping us "newbies" get accustomed to the order of business and giving us pointers along the way. All in all, this camp was a great experience and hopefully the Redskins organization will see our coverage for what it is -- fans reporting all that is good with our beloved team. |

Re: Joe Crisp.
It's pretty cool that the Redskins have allowed fan run websites like ourselves into camp, and they seem to becoming more and more accepting with the additions of extremeskins and thehogs.net this year. I wonder if any other teams around the league allow this type of access?
Who better to provide the fan persepctive than the fans themselves?! |
