Re: 2012 NFL Uniform Thread - Nike takes over
exactly what I thought, a bit darker red, but totally BC.
Those might not look so bad if they added a big feather on the helmet, with a helmet or a spear with feathers on the shoulder pads instead of the indian head logo. I dunno, it looks sort of outdated, but I guess that is all in the spirit of a throwback. Having said that, I would like the skins to take just a slight tip toe into the 21st century and give us an updated logo or design. I feel that since we aren't a winning franchise, and havent won anything in over twenty years, maybe its time for a new logo and a sleeker updated design. Now would be as good of a time as any. New coach (kinda), younger defense, and a brand new stud QB. Put that together with the skyrocketing optimism surrounding our team right now, i feel that if it were a well thought out, bad ass design that everyone would get behind it. Plus, I read somewhere that every time a new jersey or team logo is introduced or "revamped", that profits of jersey and team memorabilia go up an average of 24% versus the average of the previous 2 years. Might be something to think about moving forward with our blossoming franchise. *** One thing though, just dont let Jay Z or any local area "rapper" come up with the design. |

That's the #1 Thing I want to get rid of. It's tacky, dated, and looks cheap in comparison to modern uniforms. I'd like it in a retro alternate uniform we wore every now and then, but I'm pretty tired of it. It hasn't held up well over time.

What I want to know is how Ryan Kerrigan, who is probably sub 10% body fat, manages to get every single ounce of fat stored in his face?

Black facemask for the black fans. I'm really digging these, one of the classier throwbacks out there.

Black facemask for the black fans. I'm really digging these, one of the classier throwbacks out there. I think they are cool, could have been allot worse. I am disappointed in the 80th anniversary logo though, they took the easy rote and just modified the 75th, laziness if you ask me. |

Re: 2012 NFL Uniform Thread - Nike takes over
Same here. I'm glad they did not follow the popular trend and throw a gray mask on. The leather helmet needs the least-visible facemask possible since they played without them back then, so black works the best.

Do we have to do the Seminole chop at games now?
