VT-
On that play I actually thought there was a lane straight up field before he rolled so far out to try to find a receiver. Also agree with you on a fine and I am a little surprised there wasn't a flag... but oh well I think it could have gone easily one way or the other with the unnecessary roughness call not a big deal to me.

That said, I think RG3 will start (but I think if he didn't I'd go with Kirk)

Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts
It felt to me in the fourth quarter the stage was to big for Cousins. I thought he would have gained some confidence in going out there and hitting the big play to Moss. He looked like a 4th round rookie in the fourth. Those two picks were terrible.
SS- after stating that you are right about using Rex in an in game situation due to his knowledge of the offense. It also shows us just how good we have it at QB with the starter.

Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts
Kirk Cousins = next Tom Brady. He already has the hair, number, being a backup and college conference down. Super Bowl! Haha

Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts
We haven't talked about it much, but I brought it up in the game day thread...twice Madieu Williams had relatively easy interceptions but instead went for the big hit and had the football bounce off of him. The first was just before a TO anyway. But still, he needs to be more aware

Maybe Wilson or someone could draw a return. We need to keep our good players, but at the same time, it only makes sense if we'll be competing with them this year.

Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts
It was ATLs gameplan to kill the clock and keep RGIII on the sidelines. ATL knew the big play was there for the taking but, instead used a ball control offense to limit the Skins touches. RGIII attempted less than 20 passes. Ryan attempted over 50. Consequently, the game was close. Skins settled for not opening up the passing attack on first and second downs. Take that in consieration that they've been terrible on 3rd down all year. I said it before and maybe I cannot express it the best way but, the Skins showed their hand operating out of the I-formation so much. RGIII is handcuffed not operating out of the spread formations. Any QB is.
