Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts
Yeah I find it hard to get mad at our FO for "violating the spirit of the cap". Pure BS.

Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts
how much should the giants get docked for violating the spirit of competition by winning 2 super bowls in the last 5 seasons?

Meriweather, as I mentioned before, likely not back until after the bye week. Jammal Brown may return then as well (I've stopped holding my breath on him)

Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts
I honestly think some guys are seriously trolling up here with some of the "opinions". Not sure how you can expect anybody to take you seriously when you are suggesting any of the following:
1) Bring back Al Sauders or Gregg Williams 2) Signed Gaffney (or Plaxico) instead of Garcon due to one is pricey and other is not. Mind you, this is from somebody who has been bitching repeatedly about WR speed. 3) Thinks Moss is our best WR of the group. 4) Fire everybody in the Redskins organization except for Raheem Morris, and then touts his "winning record" as a coach. The same coach that a 17-31 record with the Buccaneers and was promptly fired. Yeah...THAT winning coach. You really can't win with some fans. Damned if they do, damned if you don't. It's not even about having a different opinion, it's about having a LOGICAL opinion. The above is not logical in any shape, form or fashion. ![]() You have to laugh at the insanity.

I agree but Moss is the most accomplished of the group and I think most clutch of the group. |

(!= is the not equal sign) Skins fans have overvalued Moss for a LONG time now. He would never had been a #1 on any other team besides ours. He isn't clutch by far. One game in Dallas doesn't mean he's clutch. I've seen him drop too many balls that made a difference or fumble at the worse time to call him clutch. If he's the most "clutch", then we have a serious problem.

Re: Falcons at Redskins Post Game Thoughts
5 points/observations/etc. from yesterday's game:
1. I really hope the light goes on over RGIII's head about getting out of bounds 2. I think RGIII should sit out this week vs. the Vikings. Coming back from concussions too soon seems to lead to more concussions. I don't want this thing compounding, and it might be good for him to see a game from the sidelines then come back strong for the G-Men. 3. I am convinced that Jim Haslett does not even go into the lockerroom at halftime. There are no adjustments made by our defense ever. Whatever the strategy is the 1st drive of the game, its the same the last drive no matter the results. Seemed like we rushed only 4 95% of the time. 4. Everyone needs to calm down about the world ending, we are a few players short of having a good chance of making the playoffs, I think if we have 1 more good draft class and get some secondary players we will be solid. 5. Pierre Garcon was a good signing, he had a bad game, but Julio Jones is a beast! Man that kid is big and intimidating as a WR. |

Wow jamal brown. Yeah havent even considered him but imagine if he does return and is good again? Same with BW. If he is good again? An offensive line and secondary upgrade might just be what the doctor ordered.
