Are we trying to figure out the guy who drove home high or the guy telling LL ( from ES ) about Griff being unhappy?

Smoot!
Edit: as in Fred. Defensive player - no longer on the team. High. Has to be Smoot. Party boat. All signs point there.

Holy Damn! 85% of us want Haslett gone between now and end of the season, and 30% want the same for Shanahan, so 115% of us want some coaches gone!! Glad to see we're all finally on the same page

115%? Why are we letting Philadelphia fans vote in our poll?

Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?

Why not? Id rather have him coaching RG3 than Shanahan. Joe Gibbs had mega success with shit qb's, imagine what he could do with our guy. Plus, he likes to build with FA's. Due to the fact of not having first rounders and our team already having a couple good young pieces, I think that would actually work good! Get Joe on the phone please!

The one thing about Gibbs is that he would have young QBs sit while a veteran started the whole season. He did it with Mark Rypien, Stan Humpries, Jay Schroeder, and with Jason Campbell. I'm not even sure if Gibbs would have drafted RG3 as he's never taken a QB higher than 25th overall in a NFL draft.

But since today's NFL is different than the one during his first tenure perhaps Gibbs would have drafted RG3 and started him right away.

Joe Gibbs started Campbell in 2006 essentially because the season was over, and to give in to a fan base that wanted to believe Mark Brunell was the problem even though he really wasn't.

Consider that at the times Gibbs resigned in 2008, he did make mention that he would have held a QB compeition between Todd Collins and JC had he stayed as coach. I believe Gibbs knew that Campbell was not the answer deep down. Joe preferred veteran QB's because throughout his tenure as head coach it was always the veterans who performed well, played smart, and didn't make mistakes that cost the team...

I wonder how Gibbs 2 would have turned out had he went after Kurt Warner back in 04 instead of Brunell. I thought he would go in that direction because of the Coryell connection with Mike Mike Martz.

If Gibbs was still coaching, there would have been no Jim Zorn. No Shanahan. No Bruce Allen and Vinny would still be here unless Snyder just so happened to get rid of him. Todd Collins went on to play terribly for the Bears and Campbell is on his second team since leaving the Redskins. At some point Gibbs would have to be smart and take a hard look at the Rothliesburgers, Rivers, E. Manning, and begin to realize that drafting a QB high and starting him right away would be the best course of action.
