Im telling you that with this bird as my avatar the redskins are unstoppable. Its one of those things that is just going to hold true with no logical explanation for it to do so.

Re: Should Mike Shanahan be fired?

I voted to wait till the end of the season hoping replacements are at least being looked at and considered before the last moment. At least consider it and be prepared. I would personally fire Haslett tomorrow if it were my choice. I'd take an interim coach over him right now. I would definitely be looking at options for Shanny now instead of later. We may finish well...there's at least as good a chance we won't. I just can't believe he's the best available. And Haslett? Haslett?

Does anybody know anybody who ever actually gave and or got a pony for their birthday?

i had asthma too, i "grew out of it" (?) when i was about 12 or 13. still had the inhaler as a prop any time i didn't feel like running laps.

i'd grab it and barely mouth the words "coach, my asthma", that worked for several years.

Same deal hear man. I was probably 12-13 too. That is hysterical. Didnt play the inhaler card - wish I had.

When young I got a pony for my birthday...but I also lived on a horse farm so it was not a big deal.

No way. Thats awesome. Did they bring the pony in, or just like take him/her out of his pen for the day - cus if they bought it in than its a huge deal. You are lucky man. What did you name your pony?
