Why? He didn't commit a crime or anything. Although he played like crap against Bama he could be a good potential replacement for Fletch.

Depends on how deep the rabbit hole goes, but I could see teams having serious trust issues with the kid and questions about his decision making and overall character. He's not undraftable, but again depending on how deep this thing goes I think it could be enough of a red flag for some teams to cross him off their board.

career may not include any pro bowls
should probably do better than smith's 13.5 career sacks / 4 career ints / 3 career forced fumbles

I work in a high school. you'd be surprised by how many students and alumni in college are in a relationship with someone they have never met. It is a brave new world where social interactions are virtual and human contact is unnecessary.
