It's not even even all that expensive anymore. It used to costs millions. Now I think there are companies that do it for a mil or less.

Just agreeing with all of you...FedEx needs FieldTurf. The field at FedEx has been a mess since the stadium opened.

I do agree that the field at RFK was not great either, but it was not as bad as the field FedEx.

As ya all have said, Dan Snyder needs to shell out the bucks for a new field.

The field is a dangerous embarrassment. It looked like the Gotham Stadium field AFTER Bane blew it up. It is totally unacceptable and if that is the best they can do, it's time to call the people at FieldTurf or maybe install that hybrid turf they have at Lambeau and Lincoln Financial.

I'm not sure I want Fieldturf in there with all the rumors about injuries it causes. Even if they just re-sodded the field and brought a couple natural grass experts in to work their magic I'd be ok with that.

I just feel like the Skins are a grass team. Always have been and always should. The idea of having an artificial surface seems weird to me although today's surfaces seem to be a lot better than they used to be.

I love grass. But like you said upkeep is essential and it should not look like that in a playoff game.

The stadium recently installed removable AstroTurf to be used for non-NFL events. For Texans games, workers piece together more than 1,200, 8-by-8-foot palettes of real grass with forklifts. Hartmann caught his left foot in a seam between palettes and was placed on injured reserve. The lawsuit says Hartmann suffered a "significant and career-threatening injury."

i guess i never paid attention, i thought they did theirs like the cardinals, not w forklifts
