They removed seats (supply) and thanks to a winning season and a franchise player in RGIII, demand is back up. Not hard to put 2 and 2 together here. I guarantee there's a method to the madness, it's not simply Snyder scheming to F over the fans.

Then how do you explain how the ticket prices sky rocketed before and the team hadn't won jack shit? I think Dan takes advantage of the fan base knowing how loyal they are. There is a reason why the Cowboys games (and others) are littered with opposing fans. It's because this ticket holders can make some of their money back that they are being gouged on.

This is also why I think the Skins are telling people 6-8 months on RGIII as well. Purely for ticket sales. I simply don't agree with the fact that it's just supply and demand alone driving this price increase. (notice that key word alone)

Ouch. That would be tough asking the fans to pay a increase on ticket prices after having the kind of seasons they had the past 2 years. I guess they are going to capitalize on Chip Kelly hiring with the fanbase being excited about the change? I want to say that Danny last raised prices when he hired Spurrier and then with Gibbs.

They also upgraded the video boards, that in itself was a huge improvement. I don't get season tickets, so I can't really weigh in much. But I do know the company I work at just had it's first major increase in 10 years, why, things like gas, costs of goods and services, and the new requirements for healthcare.

I doubt the Skins ticket prices are the only things going up this year.

Didn't the Redskins recently upgrade their video boards too?

I hope the increase in prices pays for the best new field money can buy. Also an upgrade in player facilities. My highschool had a better locker room than Fed Ex. Take care of your employees Danny boy

I could care less. Go enjoy yourself, but the Skins games have always been more of a hassle than a fun experience. Not really about the price, all football games are expensive. If you dont like it, dont go. Im more worried about the increases in my health care, the cost to heat my house and gas prices. You would think people would be up in arms about that.

I didn't see it that way when they played at RFK. If they put a new stadium there again you could take the metro and there's Capital Hill next door. Landover is the pits.

I live in KY, NFL Sunday Ticket is the cost for my Redskins experience. Around $300 a year, the seats are comfortable, I get all the replays, the beer is $1 a piece and my bathroom is clean with no line. I also don't worry about the travel time to and from.

If you don't the high prices, 60 inch TVs are coming down in price all the time.

I used to think this way. but there is an electricity that you feel being there that you can't get at home. When you get used to being there for the tailgate and in the stadium for the game it becomes like a drug. There is just something missing when i watch a home game on my couch. I feel disconected...

These ticket increases are a kick in the arse but I guess if i don't like it i don't have to pay it. I am more worried about the 2% extra that came out of my paycheck this month then I am Redskins ticket prices though...

I know it sucks, but they have not raised ticket prices in 7 years. We were the highest ticket in town, now we are 11th.
