After watching Cousins pull out that miracle over the Ravens...

I just don't think Grossman could've done the same.

Cousins has only seen what, 5-6 quarters of action so far? It takes a bit more than that to build some real value.

Not that I think it will, just sayin'....
He might crap up the joint. Dems the risks. But his trade value is limited now.

Ay truth to the rumor that D hall is coming back for a 1 year deal? Did I just get bamboozled on a lame April fools prank?

Re: Around the NFL Free Agency Thread 2013

cousins made the most out of what he was given. his first showing wasn't super, but he played well vs the ravens and cleveland, which have/had decent passing D's from what i remember.

and he'll have all preseason to look great vs future grocery baggers soon enough...

Re: Around the NFL Free Agency Thread 2013

That's an interesting move by the 9ers. I could see them drafting a guy this year at some point in the draft to be Colin's back up. I don't see alot of value in McCoy.

Heyward-Bey should have never been drafted by the Raiders. He never lived up to his potential in Oakland. With a Colts team coming from off a playoff appearance last year, it's just a matter of Heyward-Bey filling right in.

None of the top 10 picks that year really worked out except for B.J. Raji.

Re: Around the NFL Free Agency Thread 2013

McCoy will be a good backup. I would rather have McCoy, a second round pick, another conditional pick, and saved cap space then just Alex Smith as a backup.
