I guess this begs the question: Should we be platooning Todd Collins in with Brunell? LOL

And I think if it actually wasn't going to inhibit learning as you suggest, then you'd actually see NFL coaches bring QBs along this way. But I never see that happen. It's just not a smart way of doing things.

Re: How Will Cambell Be Handled?
what serious redskin fan that wants to win the super bowl wants campbell to start this season?i think that the skins are one or two bounces away from being a very good team.last year, especially in the middle part of the season, the skins were just a couple of plays away from being 13-3.to put basically a rookie in charge would be just plain stupid

Re: How Will Cambell Be Handled?
Seriously though, the best part of the article Matty linked to was this:
J. Gibbs: "I signed a five-year deal and I plan on living up to it. . . . Health-wise and everything, I don't think there's a problem." Nothing is more exciting to me about the future of this team than to hear that.

That's pretty creative, a 3 headed monster at QB! Hell, let's platoon Randle El in there too. Screw it, just put all 4 guys in the lineup at the same time, nobody will know what the hell is going on. Brunell takes the snap in the shotgun, fakes the draw to Campbell, he turns and fakes a pitch to Collins, then he tosses a WR screen to Randle El who then throws it deep to Moss, TD!! |
