Re: I Was Wrong When...
I was wrong about Sundberg. I said he wouldn't make the final roster cut.
I wish I was right about that one.

Re: I Was Wrong When...
I was wrong about having a stud running game this year.
I was wrong to buy into the mere hope that Jamaal Brown would give us what we were hoping for.

Re: I Was Wrong When...
I was wrong when I said Landry would never stop running around like a chicken with his head cut off.
I was wrong when I said Haynesworth would be here next year because our D-line needs talent too badly I was wrong about thinking that Brown would be at least an average tackle, making the trade worth it...he is junk I was wrong of my 7-9 prediction (not by much) I like this thread...mainly cause I couldnt think of that many predictions I had that were wrong...the mcnabb trade being stupid and shannahan being terrible with personnel are my two big ones. |

Re: I Was Wrong When...
I wouldn't declare people wrong on Brown yet, maybe just a bit premature
I was wrong about Jevan Snead, I thought he might get drafted in the 4th or 5th round and be a legit QB of the future for some NFL team. There I said it! I'm still right about Chase Daniel though, it's just the rest of the NFL that's wrong

Hey, SS, what would you do with Jammal Brown after the season if you had final say and he wanted to return?

Re: I Was Wrong When...
I was wrong when I thought Brandon Banks wouldn't be able to survive in the NFL because of fumbling issues.
I was wrong when I thought Artis Hicks/Rabach/Dockery would give us an upgraded interior line this year. I was wrong when I thought that Jimmy Clausen wouldn't be a bad NFL qb. I was wrong when I thought that Tyson Alualu was a huge waste of the 10th overall pick for the Jags. I was wrong when I thought that even though we didn't have all the pieces for the 3-4, we still wouldn't be record settingly bad simply because we had talent on defense. I was wrong when I thought we would see a much better offense than the one we had last year. I was wrong when I thought Haynesworth would eventually just settle in and this whole feud would be overblown. I'm sure I was wrong on countless other things but I can't think of much right now.

Run Brown through rigorous physical tests, make sure he's totally healthy, and if so re-sign him

Re: I Was Wrong When...
I think he should go to the Dolphins...if it means we get Chad Henne.

I was wrong thinking the mods here were out of touch with reality.

Re: I Was Wrong When...
Jimmy Clausen is a rookie playing on a bad team. He's no Sam Bradford but give him some time...he will be a baller down the line.

Re: I Was Wrong When...
I was wrong on criticizing the Fletcher signing too. I thought that it was a mistake to let Antonio Pierce go, but an old London Fletcher is much better than Pierce ever was, AND Pierce is out of the NFL while Fletcher is still playing at a very high level.
