Re: Redskins pick 4th in the draft
What Shanny thinks of Colt is an interesting question.
As for the Cult, it seems like it died (or went in hiding) with Colt's performance in the preseason.

Re: Redskins pick 4th in the draft
Well if we do take a QB with the 4th pick then I think Jimmy Clausen is the best for our team. He played under Charlie Weiss and he is more ready for the pros than Bradford, McCoy, or Tebow. I like Tebow but he will be a project for a team to develope in the NFL. I would rather trade out at number 4 pick and aquire more picks than use our pick on a QB who may or may not start in 2010. I rather draft Okung if he is their if not maybe a game changing player who can come in a have a impact from jump street.

Re: Redskins pick 4th in the draft
Admittedly I'm not much of a college ball fan, but from the bits I saw there isn't much to be excited about at the QB position. Clausen actually reminds me a bit of JC...looks very strong most of the time but struggles under pressure situations. He's the only prospect I hear positive things about from nearly every corner.
I won't be surprised if Shanny looks to develop a guy who's not a rookie. I mean it seems little narrow to assume his focus on QB is limited to college prospects.

Re: Redskins pick 4th in the draft
Why a QB?! Campbell isn't one of the top 10 qb's, but he is also not one of the bottom 10. I think OL and a receiver. Seriously, Campbell doesn't have one number one receiver. Randel El and Moss just don't produce. We need a target for Campbell. Also, I think we should trade Portis for a draft pick or anything else we could get for him. His attitude is not good and he never gave even 80% this season.

Re: Redskins pick 4th in the draft
I don't know about him slipping that far, but he won't be a first rounder for sure. Well I'd be shocked if he does go in the first, but stranger things have happened. McCoy could still go mid-second round though. |

Like I said, stranger things have happened.
By the way, how serious is his injury. Talk about a fragile dude. I was just dumbfounded how he got hurt after watching the hit several times. EDIT: Looks like Colt has a pinched nerve, so that's not the end of the world. |

Re: Redskins pick 4th in the draft
Yeah...I wouldn't say that McCoy is fragile, just that he got hit in exactly the wrong way. Reports are that he is going to be fine but I wouldn't mind picking him up with a third (if we pick one up) or 4th round pick. Hell, I would be fine with getting him late in the second.
