Pretty sure it was B-Mitch. Who knows, could be someone from his show, but I'm guessing it was him.

Re: Jason Campbells response to Portis

Rather than cutting CP I would like to see him come back & be truly humbled & be part of the team. I know that's asking for a lot of maturation in a short time, but imagine this scenario:

Betts rehabs his knee & looks surprisingly quick. Shanny says before camp that the starting RB job is an open competition between CP, BEtts, and maybe Ganther & a rookie (don't see Rock in that mix at least as a starter).

Betts or somebody else wins the starting job. CP either becomes the 3rd down back behind Betts or the 3rd string behind Betts & a new starter. He either accepts his role & becomes a valuable contributor picking up blitzes & catching dump offs, or he complains, skips practice, talks about teamates & Shanny Keyshawns him.

Like Matt Mosely said on espn.com, how Shanny deals w/CP will indicate a lot about how much control of the team he has from the danny. If he's not cut from day 1, I expect there to be a serious confrontation between CP & Shanny/mgmt. at some point.

From how it was worded I got the vibe it was someone from bmitch's radio show just doing some promo...who knows though.

hilarious about G. Clark

Alridge possibly.

Portis could be a GREAT 3rd down back in either rushing or passing situations where he needs to block. We just need to make sure his feud with Campbell is over so he doesn't "miss" blocks on purpose. Sadly, I could now see him pulling that.

Re: Jason Campbells response to Portis

Dorsey had a good camp with the Bengals, I remember pulling for him on Hard Knocks, could be a good #3 type of back. Not sure if he's much else at this point though.

Re: Jason Campbells response to Portis

Maybe Shanny can pull of a Portis trade for Champ Bailey.

Honestly, I'd throw in a #1 pick for 2011 to get that done. (again)

Naw eff that! I've got your back Snake! Portis is a cancer that needs to be cut out. Shanny-han is going to get rid of him or put him on a leash. He did it before, he'll do it again.

Oh, I confused him for Bernard Scott. I was watching a few episodes of Hard Knocks on YouTube and when I saw a Bengals Running Back wanted in on the Skins I thought it was him.

^

Portis has been spotted in the thread! His identity is Dirtbag359!

4,057 posts? He's had time for that this season.

User title is "Playmaker"? He has a member of upper management for an avatar?

You've been exposed, Clinton.

Re: Jason Campbells response to Portis

If you read between the lines, Jason is letting out that his demeanor on the field is to lead by example but off the field it may be different. He feels its a team matter and should not be aired in the press. So he might be getting in other players faces but not in public to humiliate them. Another reason to give him another opportunity next year. And another reason to let Portis go. Trade him for Champ Bailey.

Re: Jason Campbells response to Portis

Portis and everyone else needs to look into the mirror first before criticizing anyone else.

But that doesn't change that Portis is right that Campbell doesn't know how to lead.

Re: Jason Campbells response to Portis

If Campbell, Portis, or anyone else on offense was leading this team, the results of this past season would have been a lot more different.

You can't lay the cluster eff that was this last season at the feet of Jason Campbell.
