Insider The Insider
Jenkins said that #Redskins told him he'll be used to play NT. "I'm all about winning. I'll get down on two knees if thats what they want."

Jenkins said playing alongside Da'Quan Bowers helped him get comfortable with sacrificing personal stats and accolades.

Jenkins on embracing selfless mindset: "I'm the kind of guy that does dirty work. ...If they want me to get on two knees, I'll do it."

sounds good to me!

Unless we load up on FA's our offense is going to be worse than it was last year. We still need O-lineman, Wisnewski would of been a great pick, or Hankerson.
Maybe because we were 31st in the league last year and desperately need more pieces for the 3-4?

I like his attitude, that's for sure. Let's see how it translates on the field.

Detroit is building a monster team through the draft ever since millen left...Id easily trade our team for theirs with all that young talent.

People were talking about how we didn't have the personel to run a 3-4. Since then we have added an ILB (Riley), FS (OJ), DE (Carriker), OLB (Kerrigan), and NT (That guy we just drafted).

I said it last night. This strategy tells me two things about Shanahan. First that he knew part of the reason he was fired was his inability to put together a quality defense. And second he trust his ability to find diamonds in the rough on offense. Particularly at Receiver and Running Back.

I hope he works out, first thing I do is send his butt to the weight room.

Yeah, I still think we need to add someone like Hudson to solidify the middle of our line. Improving our ball control ability will also benefit our defense. At the same time, more 3 and outs on defense will also benefit our D lol.

Man he sounds just like Haynsworth

I'm all about money. They can get down on their knees if they want me to do something.

Stats are important

I don't like people getting in my way.

Re: 2011 Draft Thread Rounds 2-3

Mallett could be there for our next pick, which isn't too far away. I guess we're serious about re-building our D-line, which is good. But we need some secondary help too (although I am not sure if there are any free safety prospects available). And some O-line help. Actually, we need more help than we could get out of the draft even if we were the Patriots with their 537 picks.
