Agreed...and as I said he is playing against Freeney. It's not like he is playing against some bum.

So do we have a legit QB competition now? Are some people going to be eating some crow? Or at least taking a bite?

Re: Redskins-Colts Gameday Thread.

Beck looks solid, I want to see more of him. He's extremely mobile, and has really quick feet. One of the main things I like about him, is he doesn't fumble the ball when hit or throw bad throws so far.

Kerrigan is a beast!

Helu and Hightower... I can get use to H&H as our two backs.

Austin needs to make this team. He's looking like #4 to me at the moment.

Beck been poised, good decisions. A little dink and dunk, but good decision making.

D has been absolutely dominating against Painter-led QB squad. But Indy been so bad offensively, its tough to grade the D. Orakpo and Kerrigan have played well on the line.

I think the most impressive has been the running game......Hightower's monster 58 yard run to get the game started and then Helu has proved to be the real deal. Incredible sideline stop/start run. Really good stuff by Helu.

Silverback has had an up and down game...solid run blocking, pancaking guys, but in pass offense got bull rushed once bad in the redzone, and got beat to the inside on a missed chip block

Solid effort all the way around.

I worry about Beck's arm strength...just dont know with his motion if he can effectively get the ball downfield consistently. Not trying to hatt, but just saying havent seen that on display yet.

I think Astin is making a good case to make the roster. He has had good returns and has had a solid outing at wideout.

I think I am being too critical, but it think we should be dominating the Colts oline. Orakpo should abusing Costanzo.

Yep, it was a high motor sack where Painter had to step up in the pocket and Kerrigan got him from behind as he started to take off. Rak been great.

Re: Redskins-Colts Gameday Thread.

Obviously, it's preseason. But it is sure nice to see the B&G looking good!

Things are beginning to come together. The most crucial thing is the run game. If the o-line can implement Shanny's style of running, we will be on our way.

One worry: Fred Davis fumbles too much.

Re: Redskins-Colts Gameday Thread.

Last 3 scoring drives ended at the 15, then the 14, then the 13...

12 more drives and we'll get another TD!!

Seriously though... same issue as last year thus far as far as finishing drives with TOUCHDOWNS... but otherwise... a much more Professional-Looking team... good stuff.
