Re: 2012 redskins
Sorry we wont get Barkley or Luck cause we will not be picking high enough in the draft. I would not give up any high picks to move up either. If their is not a QB worthy when in the spot we pick I say we take the best impact player. Look to draft a QB in the 2nd rd.

Re: 2012 redskins
RGB III looks like the perfect fit for Shanny's system: super mobile in and out of the pocket with a really accurate deep ball. We've really missed not having that in a QB for our passing attack. That being said, I wouldn't be opposed to a D-Jax or V-Jax addition, so we could really get vertical.

Re: 2012 redskins
Man, I wish this nightmare season was over and the draft was tomorrow. I cant take not having a QB anymore and I cant take all this crap. I am seriously beginning to think that Shannahan's job is in jeopardy. This season is turning into a major disaster.

Re: 2012 redskins
This season was a total disaster when Shanahan decided to go with Grossman and Beck and not draft a QB in the 2011 draft.

But I understand that the Redskins drafting for defense for Ryan Kerrigan. They needed that extra pass rush considering where the defense finished in the first year in the 3-4. Now, Bruce Allen and Mike Shanahan need to badly and desperately draft a quarterback. |

Re: 2012 redskins
Regardless of what's happening this year or even next year, Shanny will be safe until his contract expires. Shanny told Snyder not to hire him unless he will have 5 full years to rebuild the team. If Snyder actually fires him before that, then I would not be surprised if there's nobody, or maybe very limited choices, lining up for the coach gig at here.

My concern is that they'll get a QB and KS will screw him up by not adjusting to making him succeed (since their scheme philosophy is my way or the highway). This is the reason why I hope that they get the QB that fits their scheme, since they don't do a good job at making adjustment to make a player succeed.

Re: 2012 redskins
Well as I said, they better make damn sure the QB they select fits their scheme. I would hate to have them waste another year if they select the wrong QB.
