One thing this deal does for us, getting it done now, is give us some leverage with courting potential free agents, especially a big time receiver.

Gotta figure out how to shore up the D and the O-line as well...not going to be easy.

But hey, chances are RG3 will be a good one for some time, but dang...can't get over the price. Hopefully this time next year I will be over it

We need to shore up the O line to ensure he stays around for us. I would hope O line is the top FA priority now. If we don't shore it up this offseason we need to start Grossman again maybe so RG doesn't get killed until we have a decent line in place. That is my main line why I am bitching about the steep price. We really need to find 2-3 starting linemen soon. Trent is the new Tre Johnson, but at towards the end of his career, oft injured.

I don't like what we gave up. But in reality no one truly knows how RGIII will be as an NFL QB or how the Rams picks will turn out for at least a season or two. As of this very second, the score is 0-0...stay tuned.

Glad we got RGIII! But will he be able to handle this Ricky Williams level pressure to perform, since so much was traded to get him?

Re: Redskins agree to trade for No.2 overall pick in 2012 Draft

The Chargers got 1st a 3rd and a 5th for Eli Manning.

The Chargers got a 3rd, 2nd and Tim Dwight for Vick.

We gave up two 1st and a 2nd for RGIII.

Looking at the above trades and value we got ripped for sure. I hope we get multiple superbowls out of this. Hopefully, it does down as one of the greatest trades ever in our favor instead of turning the Rams franchise around.

Too funny!

Rich Eisen ‏ @richeisen
Good one. RT @WhitlockJason: Source: David Stern plans to veto Redskins-Rams trade. Story is developing, check back later for details.
