Too funny!
Rich Eisen @richeisen Good one. RT @WhitlockJason: Source: David Stern plans to veto Redskins-Rams trade. Story is developing, check back later for details.

RGIII better be the real deal and not the second coming of Akili Smith or the Redskins are ****ed for a long, long, time.

Let me ask this question - assuming that the redskins really had a slim chance for manning, did Shanahan really have another option this year at qb- without getting fired?

I almost shit myself for a half a second until I realized David Stern is not Roger Goodell. I guess this means we won't get Chris Paul to be our #1 receiver??

Shoot, he can be good and we're still ****ed. He had better be solid gold for this price.

Persistence is key
https://twitter.com/#!/AdamSchefter/...31690710736897 Trade will not change Redskins plans in pursuing Peyton Manning. Intend to talk with and try to sign him, even if considered a longshot.

So Lotus, who would you get for RG3 to throw to since we have no second rounder now?

But I have to be right about BOTH Griffin AND Tannehill. If not right about both, then I am wrong about preferring this trade. If Griffin isn't the clear no. 1 on the depth chart in 2014 for whatever reason and Tannehill is starting in this league, this will be the worst trade in modern NFL history, and what Shanahan will ultimately be remembered for, instead of the super bowls. So yeah, this is very much going all-in. Recklessly all-in.
