Re: Skins/Vikings post game thread
Oh and the Redskins have a positive pt differential after 6 games, which hasn't been the case since 2008.

It's a pretty awesome feeling knowing that you have a qb can close out games, and also bring a team down the field in the last minutes to win them.
Next week's game against the Giants may be epic. |

Re: Skins/Vikings post game thread
I missed the entire first quarter, the local station showed the Eagles OT loss until it was over. I started watching at the beginning of the 2nd quarter with us down 9-0.
That was an amazing 3 quarters of football! I'm feeling confident about the Giants game. Who cares that they just destroyed Alex Smith's team...we embarrassed them TWICE last year with Rex. We're infinitely better this season. We can do this.

He has a professional, Todd Collins-like demeanor. The thought ran through my mind "he knows he's never getting the job for sure now" but I have no doubts that he's a team player.

Re: Skins/Vikings post game thread
I didn't notice anything negative about Cousins' behavior during the game. He was talking to RG3 and Kyle throughout. Think he's just kind of even keeled. Only thing that caught my eye was that he was throwing on the sidelines early in the game. Not really sure why

If you have three legs you will be able to outrun the whole defense every time.

Re: Skins/Vikings post game thread
He certainly made a strong case for that. At the least, he needs to be on the field a lot more going forward.

"We kind of felt like they were going to pressure us in that situation. [Offensive coordinator] Kyle [Shanahan] called a good play. "I saw the double A-gap blitz. I was thinking I’m either going to throw hot, or if they miss this blitz and don’t hit it the right way, then I’m going to run for the first. I saw that they missed it, took off running and got to the sideline; thought about running out of bounds because everyone has been telling me that lately. You know in certain situations, and I felt like I had the guy outflanked. I just took off running. The rest is history.
