Re: RG3 cleared to play (update)

I'd be willing to guess that next year our OL will look very similar to this year.

staying in the pocket leaves you open to hits you don't see coming, which is much worst. ask Brady, peyton, big Ben, Palmer, etc. Complete misnomer when people somehow think pocket passers are exposed to less and safer hits.

Perhaps so. The only difference is that Polumbus may be replaced and Gettis and LeRibeus will actually get more playing time.

I'm pretty good with that, The unit is...OK
We have no emergencies there as we do in some other area's that D Hall has asked me not to speak of.........
If we can solidify the R Tackle with a solid starter, maybe get some action out of Josh L. We can continue to develop BU and potential future starters in Compton.....and the other lads.

Run blocking, yes. Pass protecting... You must be blind. Our scheme and quarterback cover a lot of the lines deficiencies. Behind the secondary, this this is the position group in most need of upgrading. Williams and Montgomery have been solid, but everyone else has been sub-par.

Yeah, I completely agree. Pass blocking hasn't been great.

Chester has been really good this year too . . . and lichty not too bad . . . Polumbus has been decent in the run game but HORRIBLE in pass pro . . . with polumbus being inactive today i guess well see that hurt/crompton can do

He's been a full go in practice, no setbacks.

Knee brace status has not been released but he is said to have practiced full speed with zero swelling, pain or any irritation.

Re: RG3 cleared to play (update)

I would think he'll still wear a brace, maybe a lighter one than last week.

From the sound of things the offense will be opened back up this week. Last week it was limited more as a precaution than anything else.

I agree IMO he may still wear a brace as a precaution because the ligament was stretched just 2 weeks ago and needs to be guarded against a side impact but not for any natural stabilization issues.

Re: RG3 cleared to play (update)

Honestly, he didn't look nimble at all last week. Hoping a week of "rest" will help restore some mobility.
