We are 5-1 in conference, with 2 in division wins, and 2 teams that look like the head to head could be important (Carolina and Green Bay).

We have 2 conference games, 3 non conf games and 4 division games left.

We have a lot of the advantages leaning our way even if we lose a game or two. The Philly series will be critical though. It would be nice to keep a lead on them.

We are back to what use to win around here, run, stop, the run. The only missing is the deep passing game that worked so well under Gibbs 1.

I'm just gonna enjoy this ride while it lasts, because I don't think our current pace is sustainable. Hopefully Smith and the receivers will be in sync because Atlanta will be one of our toughest remaining tests.

Eli looks like a little kid that thinks there's a monster under his bed, even when the pocket is fine.

This defense constantly just blows o lineman up. Mason stoned # 63. Ioannidis commmits assault and battery on a regular basis.

Its fun watching defense hit people.

I'd much rather have great defense than great offense. I also think its way easier for an offense to improve over the season. We need to find a way to get an extra TD per game.

I agree, I'd rather have a top 5 D than a top 5 O any day. It's fun scoring 28PPG but it sucks giving up 29. Yeah it would be nice but Defense wins games.

They do that this team becomes a top 10 offensive machine. Right now they are averaging 20.9 pts/gm. I would be happy with an additional 3 pts. Push the production up to 24 pts and I think this defense will win most games.

I don't know about THE most in football, but I've been saying for several seasons Mason doesn't get the love he deserves. He's not fast but he's a solid tackler, covers pretty well and is one hell of a tough mofo!

Sometimes it seems he just lacks that killer instinct, but you need that kind of players on your football team, not making mistakes and doing their job ultra consistently.

It is crazy how when the game starts I have no doubt we will get a real quick one or two touchdowns, but after that initial burst I pray for fg’s. I go from completely confident to completely hopeless.

Gruden is 5-0 when playing with a lead this year. I think he gets the concept of game control. But that leaves us fans nailbiting all game long.

I did not know that. I understand jumping out to a lead and than controlling possession and playing D. Im not expecting him to just chuck away (especially with our current passing offense) but a second half touchdown would be completely acceptable.
